DumptAI web application pilot

The web application provides a private workspace for customers, work, calendar entries and files. Voice interpretation can make mistakes; review the resulting records and receipts and correct errors. Keep your account credentials private and only submit information you are authorised to process. The pilot does not send automatic customer messages, take payments, or guarantee reminder notifications. Availability, limits and commercial pricing may change; no paid plan is offered by this pilot.

The service

DumptAI accepts messages only from a configured list of allowed WhatsApp senders. It uses automated transcription and interpretation to route supported messages into eligible Basecamp records or a private workflow draft.

The service is intended for authorised internal captures. Supported destinations include messages, todos, comments on eligible private records, Docs & Files records, schedule entries, Campfire lines, Card Table cards, automatic check-ins, timesheet entries, and Doors for explicitly supplied external links. Uploads require an actual attachment from the capture. Availability depends on the Basecamp tools enabled for a project and the connected operator's access.

Email Forwards/inbox, dashboards, administration, people management, moves, and deletes are not capture destinations. A request for multiple independent actions requires clarification before a write. Access to a WhatsApp number, Basecamp project, or shared link does not by itself grant permission to use or disclose its contents.

Your responsibilities

Only submit material that you are authorised to provide and process. Do not use DumptAI to submit unlawful content, gain unauthorised access, interfere with the service, or expose credentials and secrets.

You are responsible for reviewing the resulting Basecamp record and correcting or removing it when needed. Voice transcription, summaries, and automated routing can be incomplete, inaccurate, or sent to an unintended eligible destination.

Basecamp records and notifications

New messages request exclusion from client visibility. Todos are created only in a todoset that the service can confirm is private. Comments, Campfire lines, and check-in activity use their Basecamp section's existing visibility and notification behaviour, so Basecamp may notify people. A private project does not guarantee that every resulting record is personal-only or notification-free.

Ambiguous requests create private Basecamp workflow drafts. The draft retains the original text, transcript, follow-up evidence, and attachment. Final records contain useful routed content and include a discreet link to the validated private draft where the Basecamp record supports one; timesheet descriptions include its URL. New automatic check-in questions cannot contain that link because Basecamp provides no source or description field for them, so the WhatsApp confirmation includes the private draft URL. Final records and workflow drafts remain in Basecamp until an authorised person removes them. DumptAI does not offer an automatic deletion command.

Automated processing and providers

Providing a message to DumptAI causes it to process the submission and relevant bounded Basecamp context as described in the Privacy Notice. Depending on the submission, Meta, Vercel, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Basecamp may process information to deliver the service.

Provider behaviour, network conditions, access permissions, and automated interpretation can cause delays, errors, duplicate attempts, or unavailable features. If DumptAI reports an uncertain write, check Basecamp before resending.

Links, privacy, and deletion

Keep DumptAI references and Basecamp links private. Anyone who receives a link may still need provider access, but the link can reveal identifiers or context.
