DumptAI Privacy Notice
DumptAI is operated by Leer Technologies Pty Ltd.
DumptAI routes WhatsApp messages from a private list of allowed senders into supported sections of allowed private Basecamp projects.
Your DumptAI workspace
The web application stores account information, business preferences, customer details, work, calendar entries, uploaded files, voice transcripts, clarification history and a record of changes in Neon PostgreSQL, hosted through our Vercel setup. Neon Auth manages account sign-in and sessions. Session cookies are required to keep you signed in.
Recording begins only when you choose to use your microphone. Audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription; the resulting text and bounded workspace records are sent to Anthropic to interpret your request. The CRM does not retain the original audio. Text, clarification history and change records remain in your workspace until removed through an authorised deletion request. Files are stored privately and are not automatically sent to these AI providers.
You can edit or delete individual records, download files, and export your workspace from Settings. Deleting a record does not remove its historical change record. Request full account and history deletion using the instructions below. Provider backups and operational records are governed by the providers’ retention practices.
The public demo uses fictional records in browser memory and does not save changes to a real workspace. The following sections describe the optional legacy WhatsApp and Basecamp workflow.
Information the service handles
The service handles the WhatsApp message, sender number, message ID, message time, message type, voice transcript, clarification answers, and any supported attachment. It also reads bounded project and eligible-record context from allowed Basecamp projects to choose and validate a destination.
Operational logs contain event names, error codes, HTTP status codes, and a shortened hash derived from the message ID. They are designed not to contain message bodies, phone numbers, attachments, or API keys.
How information is used and shared
Meta delivers the WhatsApp webhook to a Vercel function. Supported voice audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription. Text, transcripts, supported images, PDFs, text documents, clarification answers, and bounded Basecamp context may be sent to Anthropic for interpretation and routing.
The original message or caption, original attachment when present, transcript when present, and clarification answers are retained in a private Basecamp workflow draft. Final records contain the useful routed content and, where the Basecamp record supports it, a discreet link to that validated private draft. A timesheet entry carries the draft URL in its description. A newly scheduled automatic check-in question has no Basecamp source or description field, so its WhatsApp confirmation includes the private draft URL instead.
Destinations may include messages, todos, comments on eligible private records, documents, attachment-backed uploads, generic HTTP(S) cloud-file links, schedule entries, Campfire lines, Card Table cards, automatic check-in answers or questions, timesheet entries, and Doors for explicitly supplied external URLs. DumptAI does not fetch an external Door URL. Email Forwards/inbox, dashboards, administration, people management, deletes, and moves are not capture destinations.
New messages request exclusion from client visibility. Todos are created only in a demonstrably private todoset. Comments, Campfire lines, and check-in activity use the existing section's visibility and notification behaviour; Basecamp may notify people according to that behaviour. A private project is not a guarantee that every resulting record is personal-only or notification-free.
Storage and retention
The optional legacy WhatsApp-to-Basecamp service has no separate database or file store. Private Basecamp drafts visibly retain the original capture, follow-up evidence, and attachment together with signed routing and clarification state. Signed reply actions expire after 24 hours; the drafts remain as audit records after completion, cancellation, or an uncertain write. A bounded warm-instance memory of recent message IDs also reduces duplicates but is not durable.
Saved records and routing drafts remain in Basecamp until an authorised person removes them. Meta, Vercel, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Basecamp may keep their own logs or records under their own terms and retention practices. DumptAI does not automatically delete provider records.
